Training Description

Learn the keys to coalition development and sustaining momentum through this half-day training. Participants will learn about activities, processes, and structures that build and sustain effective coalitions. Participants will also discover tips for running effective meetings, communicating, managing conflict, and recruiting and sustaining engaged participants. Local coalition leaders will present on-the-ground challenges and practical solutions related to facilitation and communications.

 

Training Objectives:
Participants completing the training will be able to

  1. Describe activities, processes, and structures that build and sustain effective coalitions.
  2. Identify and use strategies to facilitate meetings, communicate effectively, manage conflict, and recruit and sustain membership.

Audience:
Coalition leaders and members, teams, and partners working towards community health.
